Scrapbooking is expensive enough; having to buy the albums, paper, embellishments, as well as the adhesive that you will need to finish it. The costs involved can start to add up, making your projects cost way too much. You end up stopping before you start, just because of that one fact! I have a great project, wonderful for beginners that you can finish up in a day!

Paper cutting is a traditional and easy scrapbooking idea and solution that you can use on your projects. This technique involves folding the paper, and then cutting it into a single design with the sections still attached at the folds. Once the paper is unfolded, it reveals repeated motifs that will be joined together. This is the technique we used to use as children when we would cut out paper chains of people holding hands. Variations of this technique has been used to make many wonderful designs and backgrounds for scrapbooking projects.
